Riccardo Bosi says Ukraine is “the head of the snake”: what the X clip claims — and what public records say
An X post from “Danielle knows a lot” shares a 3-minute clip of Riccardo Bosi, identified by AustraliaOne as a former Australian Army Special Forces lieutenant colonel and the party’s national leader. In the clip, Bosi argues Ukraine is not sovereign, is the centre of globalist/deep-state power, and that Vladimir Putin is “cutting the head off the snake.”

What the clip says
The local transcript captured Bosi saying: Ukraine is “not a sovereign state”; it “does not have internationally recognized sovereign borders”; it has been part of Russia “since the 10th century”; the CIA/deep state has worked there for decades; Eastern Ukraine’s resources are central; and Putin is “cutting the head off the snake.”

The UN source trail does not support the sovereignty claim. UN/UNRIC records describe Russia’s 2022 action as aggression/full-scale invasion and refer to Ukraine’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity. United Nations General Assembly records also deplore Russian actions related to Donetsk and Luhansk as inconsistent with Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
There is a narrower, documentable accountability issue: Ukraine has corruption challenges and foreign-aid oversight is ongoing. Transparency International’s 2025 CPI page lists Ukraine at 36/100 and rank 104/182. U.S. Ukraine Oversight and GAO pages show formal reporting, funding trackers, recommendations and fraud/waste/abuse oversight connected to U.S. support for Ukraine.
Those records justify questions about aid, corruption, oversight and war aims. They do not, by themselves, prove the clip’s larger claims about Ukraine being a non-state, a globalist headquarters, or the “head of the snake.”
