[0.00-3.92] Well, there's a simple test called the absolute lymphocyte count.
[3.92-13.36] It's about a $4 test that if you measure the ALC, and it's more than 1,500, you in good shape.
[14.16-19.68] How do I get this test? You just go to your regular question. It's a CBC. It's like, how do you
[19.68-24.48] measure anemia? That's the test. The same test it measures. So if I've gotten a CBC test
[25.36-29.68] through a normal blood work make up. So I look for the ALC.
[30.24-34.72] The absolute lymphocyte count. Now, let me tell you something disturbing. There's a paper that
[34.72-43.20] just got published by the Copenhagen group that says, if your ALC is low, meaning less than 1,500,
[44.16-52.40] you have a 1.2 to 1.3 increase incidence of dying earlier from any course. If it's less than 1,000,
[52.40-59.60] it's like a 200% increase of dying early. Now, from any course, whether we cancer diabetes
[59.60-64.88] any course, which means that your immune system is the basis of your longevity.
[66.16-72.48] So forget cancer for any course, from aging, because the T cells come from your thing called the
[72.48-80.72] thymus. That's why it's called T cells, thymus is T. And as you age, your thymus becomes fat. It
[80.72-91.44] stops making the T cells and your T cells drop and your ALC drops.
