[0.00 --> 6.00] On day 94 of the massive protest here in Tirana, Albania, citizens decided to take matters
[6.00 --> 8.50] further into the Prime Minister's office.
[8.50 --> 15.00] As you can see, everyone has gathered on the side entrance of the Prime Minister's office.
[15.00 --> 21.30] Traditional media is here, citizens are here demanding the resignation of the Prime Minister
[21.30 --> 24.80] and blocking the entrance of his building.
[24.80 --> 30.80] You can see a line of police officers all the way to the building blocking the protestors
[30.80 --> 31.80] from the side entrance.
[31.80 --> 40.80] And there is the water cannon car ready to disperse the crowds if things get violent.
[40.80 --> 45.80] This revolt comes after more than three months of the Albanian citizens being out on the streets,
[45.80 --> 50.80] demanding the repeal of the law of 2021-2024, demanding a new government,
[50.80 --> 54.80] demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Adirama.
[54.80 --> 58.80] Everyone thought that with the high temperature and with everyone going on vacation,
[58.80 --> 63.80] people will disperse and this protest would die, but it looks like we are in the beginning of September.
[63.80 --> 67.80] And people are still here, people are still protesting, people want a new government
[67.80 --> 71.80] and they want it now on democratic terms, because they want to be part of the EU.
[71.80 --> 77.80] But a lot is happening, they also are demanding change, they are demanding their rights and their voices to be heard.
[77.80 --> 83.80] Protesters have decided in the end to continue their daily march as they do every evening
[83.80 --> 91.80] a few activists have been arrested by state police, even though there was not violence outside of the Prime Minister's building,
[91.80 --> 96.80] where the parts of the government and maybe the Prime Minister itself was inside.
[96.80 --> 103.80] Now all the trends are demanding the release of all the arrested activists by the state police.
