The public Instagram page showed the caption “Canada sold 34 Crown Corporations. Comment ‘Crown’ for the full list.” It did not expose a complete list in the public view, and yt-dlp returned an empty media response. PBC therefore treated the Reel as a lead, not proof.

After the first publication, two research agents found a stronger source trail. The federal backbone is the Library of Parliament report *Federal Commercialization in Canada*, whose appendix lists Government of Canada privatization initiatives from 1985–2004. This update expands the ledger from 18 to 40 entries.
