## Capture limitations

- Facebook exposed the post text, source links, engagement counts and comments behind a login header.
- yt-dlp could not download the post media because Facebook reported the item was available only to registered users.
- The attached image was a Bonnie Henry portrait with no text/FOI excerpt.
- The official PDF is scanned/image-based; Tesseract OCR was used to search and excerpt relevant pages.

## Editorial finding

The Facebook post has real FOI kernels, but its wording compresses and overstates key parts:

- The Jan. 17 email is a real heads-up/coordination thread about a CSC death temporally associated with vaccination. It does not establish causation or “first death in B.C.”
- The March 15 AEFI counts are real. AEFI counts are surveillance reports, not automatic causality findings.
- The Hoffe/Lytton thread is real. Henry’s visible reply is about speaking with Hoffe and possibly bringing the matter to the College; the “mitigate the harm” phrase comes from an Interior Health MHO response plan, not the exact Facebook quote.
- The May 4 pregnancy claim was not located in the cited FOI package in this pass; pregnancy-vaccination context is supported by later/standing Canadian obstetric guidance.
