[0.00-3.68] So this is massive and breaking news and it's devastating for the liberal party. [3.68-14.48] The Supreme Court just ruled 9-0, again 9-0, a unanimous verdict that clears the way to challenge [14.48-19.76] the ethics ruling on the Wii scandal that affected Justin Trudeau. For those who don't remember what [19.76-27.28] the Wii charity scandal was, government gave a sole-sourced award to a Wii charity who had Trudeau's [27.28-32.32] family members involved in the charity who were paid half a million dollars including the [32.32-38.40] Minister of Finance. It was so bad that Trudeau's Minister of Finance, basically the number two [38.40-44.24] man in charge, he had to quit. And once the Commissioner of Ethics investigated this, [44.24-49.44] they cleared Justin Trudeau. So democracy watch challenged this in the court. [50.08-55.60] The court agreed that the law existed that shielded Justin Trudeau from this is completely [55.60-61.52] unconstitutional and it could be challenged now in court. He put it to you this way. The part [61.52-67.04] in the conflict of interest act that protected and cleared the way for Justin Trudeau, [67.60-73.12] the Supreme Court struck it down and they said that is unconstitutional and it can be challenged [73.12-79.68] in court. So that opens things up again for Justin Trudeau. Who himself admitted that he should [79.68-86.00] have recused himself completely from the Wii charity. At the time his wife was an honorary ambassador [86.72-94.72] in his mother and her brother. They were getting paid. They tried to bury it. The Supreme Court [94.72-100.56] literally just said no. We can dig this up again. This is an excellent thing for accountability [100.56-105.92] because the Wii charity was disgusting and this isn't the only time the liberals have done it. [105.92-112.16] They literally did it with the Green Slush Fund. They held up parliament and they tried sweeping [112.16-121.84] it under the rug but Canadians have not forgotten.
