Hey guys, my name is Lily and I have to say I'm really worried about what's happening in Germany. In Germany, yesterday there was at least one detonation at a German power plant. Another terror alert in Germany. This time a substation near a ligignet fired power plant in Brandenburg is the focus. According to reports, unconventional explosives and incendiary devices were discovered and a detonation occurred. Also, other explosive devices were discovered early Tuesday morning, but not all of them exploded. Also, apparently the perpetrators have used some weapons like homemade rockets which they have shot onto the power plant and they have attached apparently some metal, you know, some conductive material to those rockets uh in the hopes that uh the rockets catch a cable and create a short. So, that's actually a pretty sophisticated um plan to sabotage this uh plant. And here they are saying according to the grid operator several power lines were damaged. The company reported a brief outage. However, by early afternoon all lines were back online and the general power supply was not affected. So this was not the first attack on the infrastructure of Germany. And this is probably also why Germany wants its citizens to be prepared. So, this is something I've already shown you last time, and this is a prepping guide by the Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance, and it's a full prepping guide, which is teaching you not only how to heat your home and how to cook without any uh electricity, but it's also telling you how you can protect yourselves against explosions. In explosions, shock waves, flying debris, and glass splinters pose a big danger. The same is true for air strikes. Okay, so air strikes is now a new topic in um prepping guides. When I was, you know, following any prepping guides, uh usually they were only talking about food, shelter, and water, uh but not about air strikes. So that's something new. Here they're saying, however, most buildings in Germany are solidly built. Internal spaces without windows are somewhat safe. They are telling the population there's a rule of two walls. Remember, for good protection, make sure that there are two walls between you and outdoor spaces. I am really concerned. Also, they give you a really good checklist on how you can prepare for a crisis. I have to say, it's really good. They probably took notes from some preers. Here in the miscellaneous section, you can see that they are um recommending water containers for fire extinguishing. They are recommending face masks for protection against hazardous substances in the air or viruses and bacteria. And also here they are suggesting that um you have a safety helmet for protection against flying debris. So, that's something I've never seen in a prepping guide. Unbelievable. According to a media report, Folkswagen's board of directors has decided to close four Folkswagen plants in Germany. Folkswagen employees have been demanding clear answers for weeks, and now they should finally get some. the existing business models and structures are no longer sufficient. So because of the increased energy prices and also because um government's regulations, CO2 taxes, uh regulations about how many electric cars a car company has to manufacture um actually the company cannot make any profits anymore. So this is why the company has to save money. But don't worry, pretty soon they will go into another business and use factories for something else. And here they are saying that they will use factories for the arms industry. So apparently military equipment could soon be produced at Volkswagen. So instead of cars, we are now building weapons. Isn't that a great world that we live in? Farmers are now taking matters into their own hands because the government is not doing enough to fight the drought. So now farmers, Austrian farmers are actually ordering hay bales from Germany. So because of the extreme drought, animal feed is becoming scars. The government is not doing enough. And so now um the farmers have ordered 35,000 round hay bales from Germany. Also, inflation is increasing again in Austria. Um, no house and no garden. What am I doing this for? Average earners in utter despair. A Reddit user earns a decent living but can hardly imagine what the future holds. His question sparks a heated debate. Working, earning money, saving, and eventually building something. For many, this is the classic life plan. But what happens when despite a normal income, you can hardly imagine ever reaching this goal? The user writes that he is currently looking for apartments and houses. The results frustrate him. He and his partner can't afford pretty much any property, especially if they have children later on. This makes him constantly question what he's actually working for. Yeah, I have to say that a lot of people are in the situation of this young man in Austria. So actually people in Eastern Europe have it a little bit better because in Eastern Europe the private property rate is much higher than for example in Germany or Austria. So a lot of young people cannot afford purchasing their own home. Uh the boomer generation is doing much better. They could build houses and purchase uh property when the prices were really low. uh when the work hours were really cheap and when building materials were also really cheap. So the boomer generation had it really good but now uh with this broken economy young people have a huge problem and this is why they are getting demoralized and then they don't want to work anymore. They say I'm only going to work part-time because I cannot afford a house anyway. Also, because governments around Europe are throwing out our tax money out of the window for luxury projects and for the war, there's a huge need for more taxes. So, governments are raising taxes just everywhere. Doesn't matter if it's fees or fines or this and that, taxes get raised in every section of our life. Uh but also now Ursula Fonderline has announced that you know there are some savings private savings of companies that they actually would like to have. She's saying savings are lazy and 10 trillions of euros of household savings remain in bank deposits and a significant portion of European savings are also invested outside of our continent. Europe must now put this savings at the service of these companies and that is the goal of the savings and investments union. We have to put forward proposals of securitization on investments by banks and insurance companies. So now apparently the European Union wants to come for private savings. What this exactly means I guess we will find out in the next months and years. Also now the European Union has made regulations so that EU citizens cannot have bank accounts outside of the European Union. They want all the money to be in Europe. So yeah, I mean shortly before collapse, we are probably right in it, but it's a slow collapse and the government, you know, is raising taxes, but when the taxes are not working anymore, they will come for your assets and savings. They will come for your gold. uh for example in Italy they have made regulations that now if you own gold and it's not declared you can declare the gold but you have to pay a certain amount of percentage of income tax. So all of these are bad signs money printing raising taxes uh the government trying to um introduce an inheritance tax and now they are coming for our savings and assets. So really, really concerning. Also, a little bit of good news for a change, Iceland. In Iceland, uh the Icelandic population was voting if they want to take up um talks with the European Union, but Icelanders have clearly rejected the resumption of accession talks with the European Union. So, they have said no, they don't want to join the European Union. And I have to say good for them. Here another article, Germany is making itself vulnerable to blackmail with its empty gas storage facilities. It was only four years ago that Russia stopped its gas deliveries even if the winter turns out to be mild. The German government is simply accepting a huge risk. Also now something is happening which is rather unusual for highly developed countries like Germany and other countries in Europe. Theft rate in German retail are higher than ever before. So theft always happened but it was such a small percentage. Okay, it was never hugely damaging to a business but apparently now it's becoming a huge problem. Every day, goods worth more than €12 million disappear in Germany. €12 million a day. Wow. So, apparently, opportunistic thieves use selfch checkout lanes and they just don't scan all of the products. I have to say I'm not surprised that this is happening with all of the prices searching, with people losing their houses, their flats, uh with people really eating less because they cannot afford food. I'm not surprised that they are starting to steal. I'm not saying that this is a good thing. Of course, it's not. It's a bad thing. Don't steal. And there's a reason why we should not steal. But if the government makes it so hard for people to make a living, then I have to say I'm not surprised that this is happening. I'm not surprised. And now another thing is happening. German manufacturers want to raise prices for their products. Even though customers are already leaving, they are saying, "Hey, it's too expensive." But the producers and manufacturers are increasing prices even more, furniture, household appliances, toys. The majority of manufacturers are planning price increases. But according to a study, uh most consumers are already finding alternatives. Also, the next very concerning article is this one here. The list of price drivers is growing longer. Inflation is back on track and above 3% in Germany. Prices are rising faster again. This is mainly due to high energy prices. Also here, this is a mainstream article. And finally, they are admitting that there's a correlation between excess mortality and the mna vaccinations. What researchers know three years after the pandemic even years after the corona virus pandemic life expectancy in Europe is recovering only slowly. The exception is precisely those countries where fewer people were vaccinated. Yeah, they finally admitted those countries that have been vaccinated a lot. They also have a slower recovery in life expectancy. So yeah, I guess a lot of people are now really angry with the government, but of course nothing is happening. Nobody's going to jail. Nobody's going in front of the court and done deal. That's it. Awesome. The world we live in is really awesome. Also, here we got another article about food being barely affordable and most students are at risk of poverty. For many students, the start of the new semester becomes a financial challenge. Especially when it comes to daily food, every euro suddenly counts. According to the Austrian Student Social Survey, six out of 10 students in Austria live with an income below their poverty line.
