- AP later reported U.S. dockworkers approved a six-year contract, averting another strike.
- Search trails show the same sentence resurfacing on Facebook/X/Instagram in 2026, without a named port, date, police report, union statement or container number.
- BBC search snippets for Tilbury Docks show a real 2014 case where 35 people, including children, were found in a container after screaming was heard. That proves the general risk can exist, not this viral strike claim.
