A Facebook post names RCMP Commissioner Michael Duheme and alleges a collapse in federal complaint intake — unread deletions, ignored constitutional escalations and failed routing.

PBC checked what is confirmed and what still needs records.

Confirmed: the RCMP Act gives the Commissioner, under the Minister, control and management of the Force and all matters connected with it. That makes intake, routing and record-preservation a legitimate public-accountability issue.

Not confirmed yet: the post’s claim that nearly 150 constitutional escalations were deleted unread. That needs ATIP records, server logs, CRCC files, Commissioner responses or court affidavits before it can be treated as proven.
