## What is in the clip

The preserved Reel shows Robert F. Kennedy Jr. seated at a restaurant/dinner table in footage matching the NY Post July 2023 controversy. The transcript includes RFK Jr. saying there is “an argument” that COVID-19 is ethnically targeted, that COVID-19 attacks certain races disproportionately, and that Chinese and Ashkenazi Jews are “most immune,” while also hedging that “we don’t know whether it was deliberately targeted or not.”

Because the claim involves race/ethnicity and disease targeting, PBC does not present it as established fact.

## Public health context

CDC browser-visible context says COVID-19 outcomes varied by age, race and ethnicity, and that racial/ethnic disparities were linked to severe outcomes and barriers such as access to care, insurance, transportation, child care and ability to take time off work. That is not the same as proving SARS-CoV-2 was deliberately engineered or ethnically targeted.

## Editorial label

PBC labels this as: outside-Canada political/science controversy; records and source trail preserved; ethnic-targeting claim not established.
