Information integrity Access to relevant, reliable and accurate informa­ tion and knowledge is essential for an inclusive, open, safe and secure digital space. We will work together to promote information integrity, tolerance and respect in the digital space, as well as to protect the integrity of demo­ cratic processes. We will strengthen international cooperation to address the challenge of misinfor­ mation and disinformation and hate speech online and mitigate the risks of information manipulation in a manner consistent with international law. ACTION 19. WE WILL ACCELERATE THE ­IMPLEMENTATION OF OUR COMMITMENTS ON WOMEN, PEACE AND SECURITY. We recognize the role of women as agents of peace. The full, equal, safe and meaningful partic­ ipation of women in decision-making at all levels of peace and security, including conflict preven­ tion and resolution, mediation and in peace opera­ tions, is essential to achieve sustainable peace. We condemn in the strongest terms the increased levels of all forms of violence against women and girls, who are particularly at risk of violence in armed conflict, post-conflict situations and humanitarian emergencies. We will establish and maintain robust risk mitigation and redress measures that also protect privacy and freedom of expression. We commit by, 2030 to: (a) Create a safe and secure online space for all users that ensures their mental health and well-being by defining and adopting common standards, guidelines and industry actions that are in compliance with international law, promote safe civic spaces and address con­ tent on digital platforms that causes harm to individuals, taking into account work under way by United Nations entities, regional or­ ganizations and multi-stakeholder initiatives (SDGs 3, 5, 9, 10, 16 and 17); (b) Prioritize the development and implementa­ tion of national online child safety policies and standards, in compliance with interna­ tional human rights law, including the Con­ vention on the Rights of the Child (SDGs 3, 5 and 10); (c) Establish regular collaboration between na­ tional online safety institutions to exchange best practice's and develop shared under­ standings of actions to protect privacy, free­ dom of expression and access to informa­ tion while addressing harms (SDG 17); (d) Ensure that laws and regulations on the use of technology in areas such as surveillance and encryption are in compliance with inter­ national law (SDGs ## TERM: misinformation @ 181642 address the challenge of misinfor­ mation and disinformation and hate speech online and mitigate the risks of information manipulation in a manner consistent with international law.
