Dr. David Nixon, colloidal gold and the “nanotech detox” claim
Short answer
The Reel has a real doctor and a real adjacent science topic, but the sales claim outruns the evidence. Dr. David B. Nixon is a former Brisbane general practitioner who now runs a self-published microscopy project called NixonLab. Gold nanoparticles and gold nanocrystals are genuinely studied in medicine, including CNM-Au8 trials in ALS, MS and Parkinson’s-related brain-energy research. But I did not find peer-reviewed human evidence that consumer colloidal gold “kills” hidden COVID-shot nanotechnology in seconds or detoxes the nervous system, pineal gland, brain, immune system or endocrine system.
What the Instagram Reel claims
The captured thumbnail says: “Dr. David Nixon Shows Study How Colloidal Gold Kills The Nanotechnology in The Covid Shot in Seconds.” The caption expands that into claims about 6G, transhumanism, nanobots inside bodies, “satanic frequency,” nervous-system detox, pineal-gland detox, anti-inflammatory support, neural regeneration, dopamine/serotonin pathways and a product funnel: “Comment GOLD and I’ll send you the link.”
Who is Dr. David Nixon?
Nixon’s own site describes NixonLab as an independent microscopy and publishing project developed by Dr. David B. Nixon, a former general practitioner based in Brisbane, Australia. His project publishes dark-field microscopy and sessile-droplet evaporation material claiming to show self-assembling nanotechnology or synthetic structures in Pfizer Comirnaty and biological fluids.
That is a public claim trail, not the same thing as independent biomedical validation. His “Journal of BioNanoTechnocracy”/NixonLab material is self-published or project-published; I did not find PubMed-indexed peer-reviewed confirmation of the headline claim that COVID vaccines contain hidden self-assembling nanotechnology that colloidal gold destroys.
Proven / possible / not proven
| Claim | Status | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Nixon exists and publicly makes microscopy claims about COVID shots and biological fluids. | Proven as source trail | His own site and interview pages document the claim ecosystem. |
| COVID mRNA vaccines use lipid particles/lipid nanoparticles to deliver mRNA. | Proven | FDA and Health Canada ingredient records list mRNA and lipid components. Lipid nanoparticles are not the same as smart nanobots or microchips. |
| Gold nanoparticles/gold nanocrystals are being studied for neurological disease and drug delivery. | Proven | PubMed and ClinicalTrials.gov show real gold-nanocrystal/nanoparticle research, including CNM-Au8. |
| Consumer colloidal gold orally detoxes vaccine nanotechnology or “frequencies.” | Not proven | No supporting human clinical trial or accepted mechanism was found for that claim. |
| COVID shots contain hidden graphene circuits, nanobots, 6G-connected structures or satanic frequency payloads. | Not proven | Official ingredient lists do not support it; self-published microscopy videos are not enough to establish it. |
Similar studies and what they actually show
| Area | What it shows | Evidence label | Link |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nixon / Reel source | Nixon is presented as Dr. David B. Nixon, a former Brisbane GP who runs NixonLab and publishes dark-field/sessile-droplet microscopy claims about Pfizer Comirnaty, blood/urine and “self-assembling nanotechnology.” | Public claim trail; not independent validation | source |
| COVID-shot contents | Official ingredient lists identify mRNA plus lipid components, cholesterol, salts/buffers/sucrose/water depending on presentation. They do not list microchips, smart nanobots, graphene-oxide circuits or gold-sensitive “nanotech.” | Official ingredient record | source |
| Legitimate gold nanomedicine | CNM-Au8 is an investigational suspension of clean-surfaced gold nanocrystals studied for ALS, MS and Parkinson’s disease mechanisms such as brain-energy metabolism/redox state. | Real clinical research; not colloidal-gold detox | source |
| ALS trial example | A randomized platform trial tested CNM-Au8 in ALS. This is biomedical gold-nanocrystal research, but it does not support claims that consumer colloidal gold kills vaccine nanotech in seconds. | Human trial, different product and claim | source |
| MS/Parkinson target engagement | REPAIR phase 2 trials reported brain target engagement signals for CNM-Au8 in Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis. | Early/intermediate human evidence; not detox proof | source |
| Neurological-disease review | Reviews discuss gold nanoparticles as drug-delivery/neuroprotection tools for Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and stroke, largely as mechanistic/preclinical or translational nanomedicine. | Real review literature; not the Reel’s claim | source |
| Oral colloidal gold supplement claims | No human clinical trial was found for oral colloidal gold as “nervous-system detox,” “pineal gland detox,” or “nanotech frequency detox.” “Colloidal gold” often appears in diagnostic test technology, not wellness detox trials. | No supporting human clinical evidence found | source |
| Supplement/drug-claim enforcement context | FDA warned a gold/silver supplement seller that disease and structure/function treatment claims can make products unapproved new drugs/misbranded drugs. | Regulatory caution | source |
The key distinction: CNM-Au8 and gold nanoparticle papers are controlled biomedical research into specific formulations, doses, diseases and endpoints. They do not validate a wellness-product claim that colloidal gold neutralizes alleged vaccine nanotech in seconds.
Ingredient check
The FDA’s Comirnaty prescribing information describes mRNA encoding the SARS-CoV-2 spike antigen plus lipids, cholesterol, tromethamine/tromethamine hydrochloride and sucrose depending on presentation. Health Canada similarly lists mRNA and non-medicinal ingredients such as ALC-0315, ALC-0159, DSPC, cholesterol, salts/buffers, sucrose and water for injection.
That record supports a cautious statement: lipid nanoparticle delivery is real; hidden self-assembling nanobots are not established by the official ingredient record.
PBC bottom line
This is exactly the kind of claim that should not be handled with either blind trust or blind dismissal. The public is entitled to question vaccine manufacturing, ingredient disclosure, batch testing and adverse-event handling. But a before/after microscope clip plus a product funnel is not proof that a supplement cures an invisible nanotech problem.
Best evidence label: real doctor/source trail + real gold-nanomedicine research + unsupported colloidal-gold nano-detox claim.
