Speech Watch

Speech Watch tracks cases where online comments, social posts, criticism, allegations, protest speech or platform activity lead to police attention, court orders, contempt findings, job pressure, account penalties or public proceedings.

The lane is careful by design: it records pressure on speech while separating allegations from proof, social-video claims from court records, and public-interest accountability from harassment.

How this section works

Evidence labels before outrage

Every entry should identify the post or comment, the official action, the judge or agency where public, the legal basis, the press/court record, and what remains unproven.

Cases to watch

Send public links where someone was arrested, sued, threatened, removed, investigated, disciplined or silenced after online comments. PBC will look for press, court records and official documents before publishing.
