“The War on Humanity” video: real anxieties, unsupported total-control leap
A Facebook video from Survival Hub packages real modern anxieties — social isolation, family breakdown, polluted food/water/air, transhumanism and digital dependence — into a sweeping claim that humanity is being deliberately remade. The real issues deserve attention. The total-control and collective-blame leap still needs evidence.
What the Facebook video says
The public Facebook metadata identifies the uploader as Survival Hub and the video as a 3:40 clip. The caption says: “For decades, they haven’t just been changing our world. They’ve been changing us.” It lists weakening the family, replacing faith with ideology, disconnecting people from nature, poisoning food/water/air, keeping people distracted/medicated/divided/dependent, and then says a population stripped of identity and resilience is easier to control.
The caption continues into a post-human/transhumanism frame: “biology is optional,” “reality is subjective,” and “humans should merge with machines.” It says every crisis and division was not random, calls the future “engineered,” and includes the line: “Every road leads to Zion.”
Sampled frames show a woman speaking at a microphone with the watermark Survival-Hub.com, captions including “the final goal is to eradicate humanity as we know it” and “social media replacing real human connection and interaction,” and the title card THE WAR ON HUMANITY.
The real concerns inside the video
There are real issues here that should not be dismissed just because the video’s framing is dramatic. Family breakdown, loneliness, digital addiction, pollution, ultra-processed food, public distrust, medication overuse, child online harms, corporate power and fast-moving biotechnology are all legitimate topics. Canadians can debate those issues without accepting a single hidden master-plan narrative.
Likewise, transhumanism is a real philosophy/technology debate. AI, brain-computer interfaces, gene editing, synthetic biology, fertility technology, gender medicine, social-media behaviour design and digital identity systems all raise questions about autonomy, consent, children, data and bodily integrity.
Where the video outruns the evidence
The video turns many separate concerns into one sweeping causal story. That is where the evidence weakens. A social-media platform can harm attention and connection. That does not prove every cultural change is centrally planned. Food and water pollution can be real. That does not prove a single actor is intentionally poisoning everyone. A person can oppose transhumanism or gender ideology without proving an extermination plot.

Better accountability questions
- Which technologies or policies affect bodily autonomy, children, privacy or medical consent?
- Which companies profit from loneliness, addiction, processed food, medication or attention capture?
- Which environmental toxins and food additives have official evidence of harm?
- Which school, health or identity policies are mandatory, and which are cultural trends?
- Who specifically funds or lobbies for each policy — with documents, not slogans?
Those questions are stronger than “every road leads to Zion” because they can be answered with records.
